We have three full systems. One is my dad's and I guess has to be considered the "main" PC. It's the one with all of the internet stuff installed on it (I'm networked with it). My computer in my room while I'm home for the summer. And then my brother has an old 333 MHz Cyrix that he uses for typing papers (it has no internet, so he doesn't use it much).

I have three of my own computers. A crappy old laptop (P150) which is ok for e-mail, surfing a little, and winamp in my bedroom. A P3 1.1 which serves as a dedicated SnapStream PVS server and capture unit. Then my main rig, a Celeron T 1.3 with nice dual monitor setup which I use for just about everything I really want to do.

Oddly enough, everyone else in my family has their own computer too, but 2/3 of my boxes own them. Puny P2 450 with scsi drives is only thing that even comes close. Dad really needs to upgrade his P2 Dell.

Check my sigs..... updated again.

Mostly bought via Hotdeals and computer shows. I swap some parts in the systems, just to test them. All networked w/ Netgear RT314.

Main ------- AutoCAD2002/Photoshop/watch DVD - Tauruz
second ----- Seti cruncher/web surfing/games, mp3,etc - Virgo
third --------Seti cruncher/web surfing/games, mp3, etc - Libra
fourth ------ Linux - Mandrake 8.3 and Redhat 7.2 - Skorpio

Most of the time I leave the Seti machines on 24/7. Usually crank out about 84 units/week. Both of these where built within the last 8 months.

No being used but works (no monitor). I'm looking for a resonably priced KVM switch.

Compaq Presario 4850 - PII-300 MHz w/ Win 2000
IBM 2183-M53 - originally a 100 MHz, updgraded to 400 Mhz w/ Powerleap. With Windows 98SE.

In the car

Compaq Armada 7400 w/ Delorme Earthmate GPS & Street Atlas Deluxe. Had this for almost 2 years. I travel a lot so this helps me know where I am. I get lost easily without it!

Four fully operatoinal and networked:

Athlon XP 1800 - my main PC
Pentium 3 800 - internet server, girlfriend/guests use it
Duron 800 - MicroATX system used downstairs for MP3/Divx, operated via the TV
K6-2 400 - this is my Linux box, which I one day hope to become my internet server, if I ever get my ADSL modem working on it :frown:

I have an "almost" dedicated computer room with two desks in it with a PC on each and the Linux box is crammed in a cabinet next to me...

I've got 2 set ups at my house...
One is an old compaq (333 celeron) that my parents bought, my bro uses it the most to play games and my parents use it sometimes to look at the chinese news stuff
The other one is a computer that I built last summer, not the greatest machine(750 Duron), but I'm a HS student on a limited budget. I use it to do whatever, games, posting on ATOT, MP3, Divx, and oh yeah homework sometimes....

I have three rigs. One is basically mine, the second is my wife's (also used for LAN gaming if a fellow nerd drops by) and the third one was my ftp server box until the stupid hard drive (containing 25g of MP3's....DAMMIT) blew up a while back.:|
