I've gone through three battery banks, all of them highly rated on Amazon, and they either:
- don't seem to have anywhere near the capacity they advertise. I'm lucky to get two charges out of, say, a 10,000 mAh pack on my S5.
- have an obnoxious light or display that is always on when charging the phone, which drains itself unnecessarily.
- have features that don't quite work right. I bought and returned a pack that said it can be hooked up to the wall outlet and it would charge both the battery and the connected phone at the same time when daisy-chained. Well, it charged, but the phone charged at an abysmal ~350ma rate that would often just drop to zero. I left it charging for a night and the phone was still dead in the morning. It also dies when it's "charging" as I'm using it, because 0-350mA isn't enough to keep up with the phone's power draw. This is after it was hooked up to a 1.5A port and after the bank itself was already at 100%....
So, anyone have recommendations for a power bank that actually works as advertised? And has the daisy-chain charging capability?
