I'm extremely picky about monitors, but this one is really nice. I've had a Sony 200SF 17" for 4 years, and it spoiled me. I tried a couple cheap 19" monitors (a Viewsonic PF790 and a KDS that I don't remember the model of), but neither were as nice as my 17" Sony. I'd finally decided I'd have to spend the big $$$ and get a Sony G400, but then I heard of the Compaq P900. Same trinitron tube as the Sony G400, same resolutions, refresh rates and dual inputs. Then I saw the price and could hardly believe it; only $280 for this good quality a monitor, WOW! Got it in today and I'm very impressed. I'm running at 1152x864x32@100Hz refresh and it really looks sharp. I played a few minutes of Q3A and UT @ 1600x1200 and I can hardly believe the difference. Lastly, this monitor has a 3 year, next business day replacement warranty, which I think is the best or one of the best in the biz. CDW has 35 of these in stock right now and they have another shipment coming in on Sept. 28. When they are sold out they are done, since the model has been phased out. Get them while they're hot...<G>
