Ok first off .. you need a large cast iron frying pan with lid ... take the duck .. place in the middle of the pan ... take fresh brussel sprouts and place around the duck .... then melt butter and then pour in salt pepper and garlic powder and parsley .. stir them in to the melted butter .. then pour the butter and spices over the duck .. put lid on frying pan .. bake at 350 degrees for about an hour covered .. (depending on size of duck .. you may need to cook longer) .. then take off the lid on the pan ... turn temp up to 400 degrees and bake for 30 or 40 more minutes .. it will be really good .. you can replace the duck with two cornish hens .. and it will be yummy either way .. you can also add onions and carrots if you feel like .. its a good dish.
