so the dimensions of the plywood platform and tub area are 76" left to right, and 58" front to back in that first picture?
OK.
1) do you want a tub?
2) is there another bathroom in the house?
OK then. you could fit both a bathtub and a separate shower stall into that space but it would be funkaliscious to say the least.
whatever you do you'll need to move plumbing, unless you put a clawfoot in there or some other funky drop-in on a platform.
you may be able to build a partition wall and install a standard 60" on the right wall, but that heater vent on the right would need to be dealt with.
If you just move the plumbing over towards the back wall so it is centered on the tub, you have room for a luxurious 72" tub with enclosure of your choice. Build a false wall at the left or right to deal with the extra 3~4".
Those are a couple of ideas.
Two words:
Toto.
First step would be to get the toilet away from the tub.
Why? It makes for easy access taking care of the three S's.
Seriously, is there a legitimate reason for moving the toilet away from the shower? I've seen a few make that suggestion.
To add to what you are doing, I'd suggest a large built in heated mirror in the shower (for shaving). Also, an overclocked fart fan.
Sounds good. how about a movie?I have no idea. I'm exhausted with the house and work. I need to lay down.
Sounds good. how about a movie?
May I suggest re-watching "The Money Pit".....D:
