Anyone have any odd coincidences w/ their SO?

A little background. My wife and I, who were high school sweethearts, have been together since we were 15yo, and have been married for almost 9 years now, were watching Back to You where there was a joke about the mom asking her daughter about her science experiment "now who built this?" and the daughter looks at the mom and says "you did..."

My wife and I looked at each other and i said "I will NOT do that with our daughter, and my parents didn't do that with me" and she agreed. We started talking about doing science fair experiments when we were in elementary/middle school, and I told her that even though I am quite electrically and mechanically inclined NOW, back in the day the best science experiment I could come up with was having different types of bread (white, wheat, rye, pumpernickle, etc.) out in the open and seeing which ones molded first.

She replied that she doesn't remember doing that, to which I replied with a "... huh?"

As it turns out, she thought I was talking about her science fair experiment from back in the day, and that was HER biggest memory about a science fair experiment as well, but she did all white bread but in different environments (dry, wet, dark, light, warm, cold, etc.)

total new respect for my wife now... over a TV show... that reminded us of bread...

1. Wife and I are watching a show that involves a science fair experiment
2. I tell my wife that our child will have to make her own, despite the fact that I'm a genius
3. Wife makes comment about her most memorable science experiment
4. Turns out her most memorable science experiment was quite similar to mine

Does it count that a frighteningly often amount of times my wife and I are thinking the same thing... like I'd just randomly be thinking while at work I'd like a certain thing for dinner, and my wife would be out shopping that day and actually think to buy the same thing I was thinking of for dinner that night. (not limited to foodstuffs)
