Anyone have experience with no-clog gutters?

I don't think this word means what you think it means.

My area has rainstorms that would easily reinforce that gravity, is, in fact, still in control. The turbulence created by the sky shitting massive quantities of water (plus wind) would essentially make it like your gutters were nonexistent.

Which may well not be a problem for some. But if you have a good gutter system in place to keep water away from the house (to avoid foundational issues, a flooding basement, ect), it's really a waste to install those kinds of caps.

We've got a lot of posters in this thread that pretty much know that something they don't have doesn't work. I have the ones I linked to and they work because I don't have to clean the gutters.

If you live in a special spot on earth where they wouldn't work, well, you'll get no argument from me. I have better uses for my time.

we have them. i hate them.

dirt and leaves still get caught on it. i still have to climb on and clear it off .

I forgot this tidbit!

we have a wheeping willow and elm tree on the property. the gutters above the garage get covered in dirt/leaves TREES will start to grow in that in the gutters even with the covers!

So i still have get the ladder out and clean them out every year.

You seem to be under the impression that the primary purpose of gutters is 'don't get leaves in them.' This is incorrect.

Congrats on being the super-gullible targeted demographic for 'gutter salesmen,' though.

I own gutter installation and cleaning company.
I've been ask too many times if it will clog or not.

Answer is: It will clog...

I don't know how it happens, but it does.

Best option to get regular 5" K-Gutter or if you got a big roof(6 squares or more) then you should install 6" for better performance. Ask installer to install biggest outlet possible this way bigger amount of leafs can get through it and get into downspout. Also try to keep grass and other staff from elbows against a ground. To get clear exit for all staff coming of gutter.

I used to just go up and clear them twice a year. But now I suddenly find myself with no trees at all near the house, so it's not a problem anymore. Neighbour cut down a bunch of his trees, and I had to cut two of mine that were dying. Actually, a lot of trees in the city have been dying this year. Must be all the fentanyl in the air.
