I had a friend who's girlfriend took these at least twice. Their condom kept breaking. GOD ALONE knows what the hell they did to make that happen .They were both so farking clueless I think they didn't know how to use them.

So anyway she used them at least twice and experienced no side effects.

actually, *recent* research has shown that the morning after pill works by preventing the sperm from ever reaching the egg, not from preventing implantation. no matter what you think about when life starts, the morning after pill is not an abortion pill. only outdated research suggests that it is.

No, This Not an Abortion Pill!

Emergency Contraception Pills are not the same thing as chemical abortion. They prevent conception instead of inducing miscarriage. This is a big difference, so don't let anybody tell you that you're aborting if you take an ECP.

Completely false? P!ss off! I stand corrected on the forced miscarriage part, but 3-4 days of feeling crappy and the chemical composition similar to a megadose of BCPs is right-on.
Some people might not have any problems. I know 3 people who took 'em and they said they had cramps and were puking for 3-4 days.

yea i think she was probably just referring to the forced miscarriage part. which is the biggest issue really... i mean seriously, do you want 3-4 days of side effects, or months of it?

Thanks for the help everyone. Brought her there today and she got the Plan B pills. They also tested her for STDs and results show that she's clean. She is greatly relieved as am I, now her partner needs to deal with me... :disgust:

A separate issue on 'broken condom', I never really pay attention to it after use, especially inside a dark car. Do you always check it afterward for leakage? Is the breakage like a tear line?

We always checked. The breakage that we had was a hole near the closed end, so we figured there must have been a hole in it before he put it on.

from what ive heard the morning after pill doens't produce miscarrage or abortion. It only works before the fetus is created.
How is it not protection if the regular birth contol pill is?
