anyone have MSI 645 ULTRA board and 1.6A GHz?

I just built this system, and I have MSI 645 ULTRA motherboard. I checked the PC Health Stutus in Bios, and the CPU temperature flips back and forth between two numbers, 26C and 30C. The voltages also flip back and forth between like 3 values. I am not sure if these numbers are correct, so I am wondering if there is a software or a way to see the temperatures and voltages accurately and easily.

Also, how does one measure temperatures at idle and load?

You shouldn't have to worry about the heat with these Northwood.
Its almost impossible to fry these CPUs.

But if you wanted to know the temp just to know then you'll have to secondary sensor device and stick it under the CPU ??

HAD one. Was struggling with hanging during any files transfers over the IDE bus. Didn't have a lot of time to get it running so I went back, got a P4B266 and it has been fine ever since. Can't absolutely blame the board because I didn't have a lot of time to try various things but it is the only component that I swapped out. My 2 cents

I have my 1.6a on the MSI 645 ultra. I have actually had 2 of these boards but the first one I had I tried to update the Bios using live Bios and it killed the board! Or at least the BIOS. Luckily my dealer in OKC, PC Club just gave me a new one! They have great customer service. The new one is just as good an overclocker. (1.6a @ 2304, 16*144) But in the bios it is showing CPU temp as 30c. In the MSI PC alert program it is showing 49C. The 1st board showed the same temperature in the Bios and in PC alert. (49C).
