Anyone here collect hot wheels?

Well. I used to collect hot wheels. And I have about 30 upstairs BNIB. JW if anyone here collected, and if it'd be worth my while to put them up FS. Also, how much for the whole lot. They are from 1999-2003

I've got about 20 or so in my basement from when I was 8. Probably not worth much, and I wouldn't pay money for more.

Check ebay for the same ones see what they are going for and possibly sell there...i doubt AT is the best place for this type of product.

Unless you have some limited/special editions amongst your 30, i doubt they are worth much more than what you bought them for. Opened or not.

I've got about 150 of them in the attic, I counted them all before I put them away about 12 years ago and for some reason I still remember how many I have. (I'm 20 years old now)

I had a 4 x 4 grid of city settings (gas stations, banks w/streets and signals & the like), in addition to 2 Sto' N' Go fold-up sets, and about 100 or so Hot Wheels (most in mint shape), all from ~1980-1984, and a few other Hot Wheels accessories. I think I still have pretty much all the Hot Wheels in a couple of those old-school "wheel" cases and the Sto' N' Go sets in the garage somewhere. Not interested in selling them though, and I doubt they'd rake in much anyway.

Most of my toys made it out of childhood in good shape, whereas the toys belonging to my cousins of similar age were smashed to bits in sugar-driven orgies of destruction. Glad I still have relics of my youth to look back on. I do wish I kept some of my Capsela and Construx collection... </nostalgic>

I use to, not many of them are worth anything really. Treasure Hunts (packed one or none to a case) were always the ones to get. In 5-6 years of collecting I have only found 3-4 of these.

Also the VW Bus was the most expensive during my time.

A good friend of mine in college used to work at a Toys R Us, so he got a TON of those Treasure Hunts...and had the bus. I was envious. LOL
