He made an idiotic comment. What the fuck do you care?

Stop following me around. I realize I'm probably your hero and you worship me but don't make it so obvious.

i assure i don't follow you around. no surprise, more insults. grow the fuck up. it's hard not to read through a thread and notice the avatar right beside childish insults.

thanks

I bet the elite are fapping to the mental image of people getting PTSD from 9/11.
I have no doubt.

I was just flipped channels early yesterday, and the amount of glorification/exploitation of 9/11 was disgusting. The History Channel one was especially repulsive, with countdown timers, dark screen flashes, and a narrator sounding like he's asking a question and never finishing it. And that was staying on the channel <20s after the commercials ended. I don't know what other low tricks they pulled in the program.

The vast majority of PTSD victims are people who have killed, not those who have just seen people kill.

On a battle field there are many people seeing the same things and in the same danger, from Soldiers, Medics, Communication people, etc. The medic's don't tend to end up with PTSD and they're in the exact same danger as the soldier's that do.

Studies indicate that it's actually developed by overcoming the natural instinct to not kill our own species.

Children of abuse and people who have been trough traumatic events can also get PTSD not just those who kill.

Studies are finding that certain treatments pioneered for military PTSD treatment is working on the general public.

Check out EMDR if you have never heard of it.

they are using it on kids and young adults that have been sexually abused.

Yup. My buddy said that it was pretty tasteless stuff on TV that day.

QFT, but it's profitable

One of the most pussified of my buddies lived in the building that forms the left wall in many of the news photos of the tower's falling.

It was his first night in that apartment and he spent the next six months in temporary housing with no access to his belongings.

He got by just fine and was at ground zero.

PTSD is like autism for many...it gives you a ton of benefits to 'join the club'.

I wasn't there. I didn't directly know anyone that was there (though I do have friends that do).
So, no, no PTSD for me.

I would agree with Moodbog that it does exist, but is probably overly diagnosed.

Agreed although none of my friends were there on 9/11.
