Anyone here have a lot of hairline scratches on their phone's screen?

I'd love to be OCD free and use my devices without screen protectors :'(

I flat-out don't believe anyone who says they can use a phone for a year or two and not have any minor scratching.

Not a believer in screen protectors, and don't have scratches. But then, I don't do stupid things like stick my phone in a pocket with keys.

Over two and a half years with my thunderbolt. There's one very minor scratch in the upper left that you can only notice when looking at it from an angle. It's taken some limited amounts of abuse too.

No scratches what-so-ever on my Note 2. And I'd never cover it with fugly screen protectors or cases. I'm just careful with my things.

I have used phones both with and without screen protectors. Lately though, I think screen protectors are not worth it unless you want to resell your device. Screen protectors definitely take a little bit away from the screen quality and visual experience which is the most important part of using a phone IMO. I don't resell my devices, I just pass it on to my parents or other family members usually but if you're planning on reselling then I feel like a case and screen protector from Day 1 is a must.

My S3 which has had no screen protector from Day 1 has three scratches that are not really noticeable, unless you go looking for them though.

Using a Nexus 4 with no screen protector, I hate them.

not only does my Gnexs have hairline scratches in it it has large ones as well that you can feel and see

I'm too OCD, I have to have a screen protector as well.
Gorilla Glass doesn't do shit when you have something gritty in your pocket like a grain of sand, there's no plastic on earth that would withstand sand grinding your screen.
My last phone never touched keys, was always in my soft pants pocket and face up on my desk, and the first time I put it in a soft padded pocket in my golf bag I pull it out and it has a hairline scratch on it. One little grain in the pocket jostled enough to scratch it. It's impossible to stop. Hence, the screen protector.
