anyone here have Pergo floors?

I have a dog and am looking for a durable wood floor. pergos look like they don't scratch as easy as oak. any opinions.

Check out your local Barnes and Noble or BooksaMillion.
Those floors are Pergo.

Try the Armstrong Swiftlock Laminate flooring link. I have this at home, it's pretty durable mainly in high traffic areas. I have two boy's, one with allergies, and getting that carpet up helps. At Lowes, they offer 5 years extra warranty added to the life of the flooring. Pretty easy to install, but I guess depending on where you live, it may be expensive...$2.98 sq.ft. in Texas. My Brother-In-Law installed Pergo in his home, and he's pretty happy with it.

I have Pergo floor in my dining room and kitchen. It's great. You use vinegar and water to clean it. It's been here for three years and still looks new. I'd reccomend felt pads on the bottom of chairs and tables. No need for the dog's feet.......

I have Pergo in my kitchen and bathrooms. I would not recommend it for bathrooms because if it floods, you are hosed (pun intended).

It's easy to clean and looks great. I have the Premium with the better underpads.

Not 100% sure, but I believe it is. Still has the shine as if it was just installed. Go with the premier...

Geez, you guys. My kid was just diagnosed with a dust allergy so we have to get rid of the carpets upstairs, and it never occurred to me to check here for handy tips on the subject. Well, thanks.

I don't mind ripping out the carpet, I'll enjoy putting down the new floor. The part I hate is moving all the furniture around.

Now you know what I'll be doing over the holidays.
