Anyone here not drink in college?

I had alcohol maybe once or twice in college, but that's about it. Am I an oddball? It seems like everyone gets plastered in college.

i rarely drink and im in my second year of college. I dont mind drinking but I don't find it particularly fun. Enjoy other stuff like games, hanging out, and exercise more.

There are other things to do, not sure it sounds exciting to get wasted every weekend not to mention the horrible drinks that are usually handed out or bought.

I really don't drink that much at all in college. I'll do a shot when I'm at a party but i don't try to get drunk.

I'm in my first year. I've been drinking since 11th grade, but I don't drink that often or get drunk that often (I haven't drink since Spring Break (5 weeks now), and that was only a beer at dinner) and I haven't been drunk since sometime in February. It just isn't a big deal to me to go get plastered every weekend at some nasty frat party.

That's crazy, cause everytime I go to Madison that is all there is to do up there

But yeah, I haven't gotten drunk in a while... probably about 4 weeks ago when I was last in Madison. I don't get "drunk" too often maybe once a month, but I will drink about once or twice a week.

It's more of a social thing if anything, if you are doing it by yourself, then you got a problem

@OP: I'll be graduating in May, and I don't drink. It doesn't really appeal to me. Other people do, I don't have a problem with it.

@OP: I'll be graduating in May, and I don't drink. It doesn't really appeal to me. Other people do, I don't have a problem with it.

I graduated first in my class....and I had a lot of fun. If you are smart you don't have to spend all your time studying. If you aren't smart enough you should take a slightly lower grade yet actually enjoy yourself. Learning how to interact with people is as important as getting good grades. I will hire someone with a lower GPA who has a personality and had fun in college before I will hire the 4.0 wallflower. Grades don't mean everything people.

...because remember kids, everyone that drinks turns into a dirty slacker with a bad job, and anyone that has sex before marriage gets the herps. Or AIDS. Or both.

I didn't drink. I was under the drinking age my entire time at college but it wouldn't have made a difference to me.

I don't drink often, but it's crazy to go through 4 years of university without partying. I've been drunk about 4 times in the last three months - that's not enough to affect my grades or ruin my workout regime, but it's enough that I've made some good friends and had some awesome times.
