You guys are boring and probably sleep alone. Alcohols biggest positive when young is it gives young women an excuse for why they slept with you. If you are the doorstop in the corner not having fun then you just get left out.
Enjoy your herpes and future McJob.
@OP: I'll be graduating in May, and I don't drink. It doesn't really appeal to me. Other people do, I don't have a problem with it.
...because remember kids, everyone that drinks turns into a dirty slacker with a bad job, and anyone that has sex before marriage gets the herps. Or AIDS. Or both.

I had alcohol maybe once or twice in college, but that's about it. Am I an oddball? It seems like everyone gets plastered in college.

A picture of you having a drink may cost you your degree in todays politically correct climate.

If there were four college students together in a room, there was always a fifth.

I don't drink really at all (as in I've had a drink 4 times in my life and two were only tastes when I was underage). I just don't find drinking to be that fun. Now messing with drunk/high people that's something I can get behind.
I just paid attention to school/news papers/tv shows, etc. that points out that alcohol is bad. More over, I'm not interested in trying something that's advertised to kill brain cells, impair my judgement, or give me a hangover. Oh, and the big calories in alcohol is yet another reason but really, it's just the "alcohol is bad" messages I got when growing up, coupled with stories about addiction, people getting into fights, generally acting like drunk idiots in public, physically abusing others.... you know, IT'S KIND OF BAD FOR YOU.Originally posted by: Atheus

Wow! Why? Religious reasons? Don't like new things? Do you fear an adverse reaction?
