best thing ever.... i cant stand using a single display anymore, PC's are powerful enough now to need more than one display, or a giant high res display at least, because multi-tasking is so much more than it used to be.

I only use my laptop's screen. I could get a monitor to go with it, but I'd rather spend my money on other things.

My PC is connected to a 24" desktop monitor and a 42" HDTV. I don't run dual-display, but running Crysis at 1080P with all graphics options on Ultra High on a 42" screen is just about the prettiest thing you'll find in gaming today.

you should be posting your pc gear in FS/FT to pay for your legal fees.

yeah that would be a sweet setup... i consider 24"+ wide screen pretty much as good as two smaller 4:3 displays...

i run 2 19" 4:3's, it's nice, but i would love a pair of nice 22" widescreens, that would be a sweet setup.

It's the .1 that really makes the setup work. Anyone not running a monitor dedicated to the lowest frequencies humans can see (right down into infrared) is really missing out.

and if they're not powered monitors, they are useless.

I'm using a 19'' widescreen LCD as the primary display, and a 32'' Samsung LCD TV as a secondary one.

Having used 4:3 and wide screen monitors at work in dual monitor setups I have to say that dual 4:3 ratio monitors are the way to go. The only utility widescreen monitors serve is for waching movies. And quite frankly, unless you are in college or live with your parents, there is no reason to go dual widescreen.

If I did do a 3 monitor setup though, it would probably be two 4:3s and 1 widescreen. Probably 21" 4:3 monitors that do atleast 1600x1200.
