:lol:We've had such cut throat games of it that it's not even tabled any longer.
In fact...I made a PSA out of it:

Yeah, I generally try to hew towards co-op games.pandemic is fucking fun as shit for a game that involves working together instead of having fun crushing everyone else. We have game nights with friends occasionally and play that a lot.
It's been on my Amazon wishlist for quite some time... not sure why I bother to put anything on there since no one every buys me anything on it.I've never played it, but Space Alert is supposed to be crazy intense as a coop game too.
My daughter is 12, and she also enjoys Munchkin.
Smashup and Exploding Kittens are two games I will play any day over Munchkin. Similar "Dick your neighbor" sort of games...but no where the table raging...want to shank a bitch sort of shenanigans found in Munchkin.
My youngest kid(12) has been wanting to play board games lately. We have been playing Monopoly, what are some good ones to try? I have been thinking about Ticket To Ride, I have heard good things about that
Risk.
Settlers of Catan, seriously this game is great and isn't recommended enough.
Axis and Allies if they are into any kind of military stuff (tanks/planes) they will eat this up, even at that age.
Lately been playing Dominion, Pandemic, Ticket to Ride, and Coup which is a ton of fun.
No one mentioned Scrabble. Great game to encourage spelling and vocabulary skills. In today's world of messaging, it must be challenging for children.
7 wonders and pandemic look good.
Space alert looks way too complicated IMO.
I could see 5-10 years down the road if Holo Lens or some other type of augmented reality becomes chedap/popular having some cool board game experiences
We actually have a board game cafe here now
