gl. remember to pick a school that will honor AP credits- you don't want them to go to waste
sometimes that's not a bad thing.
i could have skipped out on physics and calculus, but i was glad i didn't.
Why?
Sophomores and above had their Comp Sci, Stats, and Calc tests today. Next year (sophomore year), I'll be taking AP Euro and AP Comp Sci A.
my college calc teacher went over a lot of things my HS teacher didn't cover. well above and beyond, actually
covered the hyperbolic functions, integration by parts (never did that in HS), 1st/2nd order linear homegenous ODE's, 1-dimensional PDE's (wave equation, heat equation, and 1 other thing that i can't remember). i'm still missing stuff, but least to say i was very pleased with having my college teacher for calc again (he pushed us a lot too, which was great. started with 130 kids, whittled down to 21 - the other 110 went to easier math classes)
that teacher actually got me interested in math so much that i took his "complex variables" class the following year, and i wanted to double major in math (not enough time for that though)
easily one of the greatest moments of ownage ever in my math class:
student: A lot of people dropped the class
Teacher: A lot of people SHOULD!
god that was amazing
