Just started watching Attack on Titan after reading this thread. I've gone through ep 1-14 in just 2 days lol. It's so good. It's almost like a mix between FMA: Brotherhood (medieval setting) and Evangelion (giant monsters)
I did get very annoyed at all the whining/crying by all the characters. It was so obnoxious. Every episode some character is freaking out and crying like there is no hope. And then of course you have that moment where they muster up the courage and believe they can win. Or there might be some big inspirational speech. It's like every episode has that.
Still though, this series is really amazing. Up until Eren becomes a titan himself, I could feel the sense of helplessness and despair of being a tiny human trapped behind these walls, all the while waiting for the inevitable freaky giants to come in and eat you. And of course when Eren gains those powers, you are like, "hell f'n yes, here we go, some legit payback time". So good.

futuristic sci-fi with human cybernetic augmentations
might be a bit on the slow/talky side of things some of the time

Hunter D was good too, liked 1's story better, but the artistical value on number 2 followed by its good music that just gets loud out of no where scaring the crap out of you, made it a good follow along. In fact, even on the DVD the actual movie running time's normal conversations are so soft you have to turn up your volume; but when some sneeky action comes exploding out, I'm sure your neighbor will call the cops thinking someone is really getting killed. lol But if you get any good DVD movie now days, like the ones I've named; the trailer option should always show good movies too, I dont have any of them any more, so my memory is kinda foggy.

Others I wont name because theres to many scenes of monsters raping humans in full out hard core porn style...good movie story lines, but just a few in between stuff thats too adultry showing everything; not to mention I'm not into anime porn, I just like the good ones that have good story lines and memroable charecters.

its a slice of life comedy about a kid who decides to attend an agricultural high school/trade school in the boonies. most of the fun revolves around the fact that they are raising livestock and guiltily enjoying eating them.
