I've been trying not to slack off and actually check out series from this current season...
eromanga sensei - I'm struggling to find out what to say about this series. I think the art is pretty good. The story isn't anything crazy or original, but the characters have some potential. Surprisingly, while the name gives off an idea that there will be a lot of ecchi, there really isn't much... or even a lot of suggestive poses and such. (If you exclude pictures drawn by characters in the anime.) I think a lot of it will hinge upon the interactions between the brother and sister. There wasn't a ton in the first episode, so we'll have to see how it goes.
FRAME ARMS GIRL - This one made me feel a bit awkward given how the anime loves to shoot from an upskirt angle on the fighting doll... things. It's almost turned into a running gag by the dialog at the end about it not being underwear but a suit. Overall though... I think the series falls a bit flat, because it's not terribly interesting.
Re:Creators - I'm not sure what to think of this show either. It's one that doesn't really give you too much in the first episode apart from introducing the characters and a tiny bit of the plot. However, it does seem to suggest that there will be a bit of a "fish out of water" element to it, and I've always been a fan of those sort of series. I'll keep an eye on this one, but I have a feeling it's going to go the usual anime route where the end makes no sense at all.
Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Kinki Kyouten - I wasn't really expecting much from this series, and at least in the first episode, it didn't disappoint me with its lack of delivery. This series is sort of like GTO meets Little Witch Academia... except the teacher has no desire to teach at all. I'm more or less hoping that the series follows what I read about in the synopsis. Oh, and I was also wondering if this series would avoid the easy ecchi moment, but nope... it had a groping session in a changing room.
Sakura Quest - Overall, it looks like it has potential to be an interesting, slice of life show. I'm not 100% sure if I'll really care much for it since the main character doesn't really come across as all that likable. I think this one will rely a bit more on the supporting cast to hold it up.
Tsugumomo - This is your sort of mystical entity latches onto human show, but it seems to have a bit of a battle element.... and a decent amount of ecchi. Although, they do keep the ecchi a bit toned down as it's a bit more spoken rather than just visual. In this one, I'll be looking for more awkward interactions between the main character and the spirit. Hopefully, it can deliver without getting too dull.
Warau Salesman NEW - I've never seen the original series, but you can tell that the animation is kept in the original's style. It's certainly an interesting show, and in some ways, it's refreshing that it doesn't try to be jam packed with twists and such. Once you understand that everyone will screw up and pay some price for it, it's sort of a ride to see what happens to them. I wouldn't say it's the most interesting thing, but it's not bad to watch. Although, the art style isn't exactly my favorite.
