S2 just finished. I like it.

I switched to the manga back in season one. The backstory in the series isn't too bad, but it does get a bit old with how much Deku constantly puts himself down. Also, the current manga arc is a bit lackluster, but there's no way they can skip it in the anime.

Bummer... I've really enjoyed the anime so far and had hoped for awesomeness in the future.

It's not bad at all. I just didn't care for the current story arc in the manga, but I didn't have any complaints about the others. Also, one nice thing is that with the splitting up of the seasons, they should have plenty of material for season 3, which has been announced.

Watch enough and you'll be able to spot where the subber mistimed Kanji and/or missed keyframes without even trying

Actually, I'm not so sure that is a good thing. I see stuff like that while I'm watching, and before you know it, I'm fixing sh*t in AegiSub :|

it is sad that there are hardly any Swedish subs, I can speed read so fast.

So, I might have found the clear cut winner for most annoying anime of the season. I went to watch Black Clover tonight, and I don't know how... but I made it through the entire episode. Honestly, almost everything in the anime is fine. It comes across as a fairly standard shounen anime with a possibly interesting plot, but there's one tinsy-tiny problem... the main character's voice actor IS REALLY ANNOYING. This is a level of annoying that even outdoes most bad English dubs. The problem is that the character is pretty much yelling everything, and he does that Japanese thing where they elongate the last syllable while warbling it.

Amusingly enough, I check some sites for comments on the episode, and almost every comment is about the voice.

Yeah that yelling in black clover is annoying. Souma season one had more shananigans, second season had more plot advancement and cooking.

Turned off Sengoku night blood half way through the episode. Too generic.

Maybe now that he has a grimoire, he'll stop complaining about it... and in turn, stop yelling about it.

I usually complain about the second season because it focused entirely on that tournament, so it felt very contained and lacked the goofiness of the first season. I guess you could say it's like what you get when watching the original Dragonball. The beginning has action, but also some strong humor elements, and it eventually turns into a battle series. It's odd, because even the first season was all "How is Souma going to overcome this!?" but it's just not as fun anymore. Maybe it's because Souma isn't that interesting of a character?

First episode of Net-juu no Susume was decent. I'll probably continue with it.
Shokugeki season 3 first episode was also solid and i'll be continuing with that as well.

Waiting on Umaru-chan R sometime tomorrow morning/afternoon and 3-gatsu no Lion season 2 next week.

I also watched the one with the fox girl at the inn, and that one was also pretty boring. It has nice art, so I might at least watch another episode, but ugh... just nothing happens. Given the sheer amount of time spent in the onsen, I assume it's for people looking at busty loli animal girls.

I haven't had a chance to watch much, but it's okay so far. I've been sort of interested in UQ Holder (sort of sequel to Mahou Sensei Negima). Although, the second episode had quite an obsession with an effeminate male's chin-chin. I started watching the Kino no Tabi remake, and it seems alright... but a little slow.
