Some, but I didn't feel that it detracted from the story, which is pretty unique as it spans a couple of time periods (1 per movie IIRC).

Emo? Not sure what you meant there. I certainly don't identify with "real" millenials, just didn't realize the definition covered the entire 80s.

I have to say that I'm kinda iffy with Kobayashi chi no Maid-san. I've always been a fan of fish-out-of-water scenarios, but the series only seems to focus on that aspect sometimes. The rest of the show focuses on some of the shoujo-ai between Kobayashi and Toru. What's even more awkward is the stuff between the two young girls... that's just kinda too weird for me.

completed yu yu Hakusho yesterday. It was ok. Nothing WOW about it like some other say. There is much much better shounen series out there. I know this is an old series but I avoid it and watch something else. The plot is kinda shitty. IMO.

I watched the first couple of seasons of Rorouni Kenshin, but I felt there were a lot of "epic" fights -- too many. They seemed to become less important due to their frequency and took a lot of my interest away from the show, hence why I only watched the first two seasons (and my attention was dwindling towards the end of the second). Most of the episodes were fighting-based, which sucks. I honestly think it would have been better with more "filler" episodes, such as some comedy / fun episodes.

The animation is good and the fights are very well done overall, though. However, I have to give it a 6/10.

Watched Re : Zero and loved it, but am crushed by the lack of any answers or pretty much any hope of it ever being finished. I haven't felt like I need to watch the next episode immediately since Code Geass and now it's over again. Any suggestions?
