Plot TL;DR - it's slice-of-life about young women training to be gondoliers in the new Venice city on a terraformed Mars.

You can now watch the subtitled version on CrunchyRoll, I highly recommend it when you're in the mood for something that isn't violent or grimdark.

I've heard so many good things about Aria. Apparently, it's one of the best slice of life Anime since Anime.

Railgun 6.5/10 would have given it an 8/10 but the filler-ish slicey of lifey episodes just kill it for me. I have not completed season 2 yet but I am on episode 14. So far I give season 2, 8/10 because it is more plot focused and more violent

I have already seen Index episode 1-9. So after I finish Railgun Season 2 I start on episode 10 in Index? Help me

I've heard so many good things about Aria. Apparently, it's one of the best slice of life Anime since Anime.

Aria is like a well-written Young Adult novel with a little science fiction and magical realism. Well-written like Andre Norton and Robert Heinlien's YA novels, not Stepanie Meyer/Twilight.

It's more grown-up than the also good Non Non Biyori since it's about young women learning their trade, instead of little girls having silly fun. It's also not static, there is real character growth and progression.

Gamers! seems to be getting a little too... weird at points. It's kind of like what happened to The Big Bang Theory. It stopped being about nerdy stuff, and it focuses almost entirely on relationships. A lot of the characters aren't that interesting for me to give a flying fudgesicle about what happens to their relationship.

Heh... those can be amusing, as they can lead to some awkward situations. I think the thing that gets me about those, is that they tend to overplay the awkward circumstances. For example, Amano absolutely adores the otaku girl's games and plays with her all the time without knowing it; however, they can't agree on otaku-related discussions and "hate" each other. Well, that other guy knows both of those facts about the two, but while he keeps hinting toward it, it gets to a point where I say, "JUST TELL HIM!"

The last episode was fine mostly because of the end where he inadvertently asks Tendo out because he repeated the line from the game. While the rest of the episode was a bit lackluster, that bit makes me curious what they'll do in next week's episode.

I laughed out loud in real life when I saw that. Tendo responded smoothly then it registered.
