I have an autographed card from Justin Verlander and was wondering if anyone was into card collecting and could tell me if it was worth anything?
Should I have it graded?
Should I have it graded?
I do. 75% of them are fake (not kidding)
It's worth less if you ask me unless you have some kind of certificate of authenticity. Otherwise it'll be a personal momento(assuming you somehow got him to sign it at a game).
assuming its worth it in the future, you can have it authenticated.
take it to vegas and get on the pawn stars show and they'll have their guy authenticate it for you
take it to vegas and get on the pawn stars show and they'll have their guy authenticate it for you
that is still retarded. while i'm not one of those 'well it's a business lol' idiots, it's more like:
'that could go for 2-3k at an auction where they take a 30% cut. i know i can sell it for at least 1500, maybe it could fetch 2k+. i'll give you 1200 bucks.'
and that would be a simplified version. how hard is it to sell? do i have to pay any employee labor to clean/organize or such? transport costs? storage costs? market volatility?
do people honestly lack the mental capacity to understand that the guy makes money by being intelligent, not a fucking moron? he probably has SLIGHTLY more thoughts passing through his brain than what he gives in 'talking head' interviews.
god i hate reality TV...i wish there was anything else to watch.
