trying to access a portable hdd i formatted as HFS at work on a XP machine
i know macdrive 7 will allow me to do this, but im locked down on this thing and cant install it.
however i did get HFSExplorer installed, its a small java program that should let you read a HFS formatted disk.
i am having trouble pointing it to the drive though. i downloaded WinObj and found the location of the disk
\Device\00000083 is the link for it, but when i put that in the box for loading a HFS device it doesnt do anything. im not sure i've typed the correct address in
i tried \GLOBAL??\Device\00000083 as well an no luck.
anyone have experience with this?
