I've been letting a friend use a Windows 98 system of mine. Now I thought that I had filtered internet access on that PC to keep him from all the pron sites...well it wasn't and now I have a sh!tload of spam added to my system.
I was removing a few programs (Celebs Nude, etc.) from Add/Remove Proggies, and came across EZ_1-2-3 ActiveX Control. I am not sure what this is and I can't find any info on it. I don't think I remember it being there before. (The only thing I could think of is possibly a part of Adaptec EZ CD Creator? Or is it more like EZ_1-2-3_I_0wn_Your_PC? )
This brings me to another question I've had for a while: How can you determine the components of an installed package in Windows? I imagine it wouldn't be as nice as RPM's in linux, but there's gotta be a way right?
edit: fixed leaky tag
