Anyone know what this is?

Okay, I was browsing through the forums the other day, and found a link to a Mikhailtech review of several fans. He was showing how to install the fans and what not, and about half way throguh the review, I noticed that he had wrapped some kind of shrink wrap looking stuf around his power supply cables. Looks kinda like the stuff that Enermax uses on their power supplies. I was wondering if anyone knows what it is called or where I could find it. I would like to use it to bundle my fan wires and power supply cables. Looks much better than wire loom if you ask me.

I don't know what it's called, but I think you can get it at Lowes or maybe an Auto-parts store. Sorry I don't know exactly.

It's called braided sleeving.

I just picked up a roll of 1/4in, 100 meter for $23.49 at http://www.cyberguys.com search for "braided".

You might want to look into some heat shrink tube also, to secure the ends of the braid on the loom. You'll need to get a heat gun also. It's the professional way to do it, not really worth the expense for one PC.

Can use a real good hair blow dryer or a soldering iron. I used a soldering iron to heat the heat shrink tubing when I soldered molex connectors to my fans.

Braided sleeves and Wireloom are both good products to use for what I like to refer "Wire Management"..and yep, heat shrink tubing is a great way to secure the ends of the loom or sleeve...you can also use elec. tape if you dont have any money for the HST.
