Bought one of these and it's great. Never had it NOT charge, because it the phone is always sitting on the ledge perfectly aligned, and it has a pretty good LED on the front to let you know what it's doing.
Not only will it always charge your phone, but, it shows who is calling and the time is visible in the dark as well, since it's tilted up at an angle.
I did have a problem with samsung's circle charger, you had to get it just right onto the plate not just width wise but lengthwise as well. It sucked, since the LED status is really dim, you never knew what the hell it was doing.
The only drawback to wireless charging is that it takes longer to charge.
The two pulses for me are...
Slower charging = less heat and that will be kinder on your battery lasting longer.
Because it's so easy to just toss it on the charger, I don't have to muck with the cables, so... when I get home I usually have 40~60% battery life left and I just throw it on there regardless because that's where the phone goes. Since I am charging it sooner and keeping the phone topped off at 100% all the time, it's better for the battery to last longer charging from half way than from 10-5% on the battery.
* Normally, I hated plugging in my phone so I'd just let it get down to whatever % or plug it in only when going to bed. I know they want to tell you that fast charging and charging your phone from low battery levels won't affect the battery, but it does. Now as for the noobs that want to tell me, leaving it on a charger with trickle charge at 100% is killing my battery. I doubt it. If I stay home for the weekend my phone pretty much hangs out on the charger.
