Anyone noticed the "new look" yet?

I have noticed a bit of a speed increase, but then again i wasn't around last night when the changeover happened.
I guess I just got lucky.
My sig links got transferred correctly, and i only got the security question thing once, plus my copy of firebird had no problems with the new format.

But it does seem faster.

And they are talking about a design change over in FI. They want to make it look more like Anandtech. Sadly they want to put the anandtech bar at the top of the page.

My biggest complaints now are that links aren't underlined and visited links don't change color.. I tred to find a way to do it in mozilla (enforce that ALL links are underlined), but couldn't.

They're working hard on everything else, so I'll cut them some slack now.

Working a little better since I last checked.. Although I got the Jrun ,or whatever, error almost every time I openend a topic when using Mozilla on Linux.

I wonder why they decided to use coldfusion for the software. I have did a little development in it and it seems to be nice but also seemed to be a bit on the heavy side....

Also, nice to see the color scheme option in the user profile!! No more pastel colors for my tortured brain!

Probably because Zuni likes it and is familiar with it. He told me one time in a thread in FI (a long, long time ago) the technical reasons why he prefers it... maybe I can dig it out of the archives if they are back up yet.

I like the pop up for editing ,otherwise I don't mind it.

But! ,Iv'e lost my Elite member status &amp; you cant copy copy links from an edit window anymore (for stats reasons)

I find the divider between the posts irritating. I generally dislike anything that makes posts take up more space than necessary, as I run on a laptop, with a small monitor, and it just means more scrolling.

Google Toolbar didn't block the reply to message popup. In some ways it's nice... undecided as to whether it's a good or a bad thing.

No problems for me so far. I like it. I have a cluttered mind and the "Baby puke yellow bar" (as someone put it) between the posts help my keep things straight.

The popup reply box is nice for forgetful people like me to go back and see what I'm replying to.

Only one complaint here. I NEED A YOUNG, BALD, WHITE GUY ICON!

Change is good guys you can't stay the same forever or you get boring.
