I don't know if the op is telling the truth of not but even if he isn't, I know situations like his happen. I once had a boss who was in his latter thirties. Not rich by any means but not struggling either (own house, car, etc.). However, his face had a lot of scarring on it like he had a bad case of chickenpox or measles at some point in time. Also, he was loosing his hair in an odd sort of way. He had a rather awkward way of acting also. Well anyway, this guy had no luck with the ladies. Wasn't married, no girlfriend, never mentioned a girlfriend.

Now I work somewhere else and there is this nice woman that works there who is desperately looking for a man. She's a very nice person but she's fat.

So, you kill two birds with one stone. Invite her to go bike riding with you, then invite her to play tennis, then you invite her out to a low calorie low fat lunch, then invite her to go hiking, then invite her to go to aerobics class with you, then invite her out to a low calorie low fat dinner, then invite her to workout at the gym with you, etc., etc. Before you know it you'll have a girlfriend who's in great shape.

Also, it seems woman don't want to date someone like me, the inexperienced type. They want someone that's more "dating matured and experienced."

It's like getting a first job, how do you get that first date and get that experience if no one is willing to give it to you???

Tried that. Problem is, short asian women want to date tall white guy, not short asian guy like myself.

I know as many asian girl married to a white girl as asian girl married to an asian guy.

Tried that too. The Philliphines brides that is. I had some co-worker introduce me to their friends in the Philliphines but I know all they want is just the Green Card and dump me as soon as they become a citizen.

According to this article. There is some hope. Geeks like David Spade and Adam Sandler are dating hot ones. But the differences between those two and myself are about $30 millions in the bank account and crappy movies to my credit.

I'm asian, born in Asia, and my parents don't expect me to live with them until forever. They moved out before getting married as well.

not really, my mom is asian and she kicked me out when I was 23 and probably wouldnt have minded if I moved out at 18. My sister moved out at 21.

The OP is probably kidding, but there are people out there in similar situations. I am 37 and have been on a couple dates, but nothing major. I have tried personals and stuff, but that never seems to work for me. I guess I kind of feel like being alone most of the time anyways. There is just so much crap that goes on in relationships and I don't think I can emotionaly handle it. At least with myself I just have to worry about me and what I am going through. The only thing in that is I do get lonely and want companionship, but I guess that won't happen. I do wonder why I am here on this planet, and what life should be about? But I am going to try not to dwell on it to much.

By the way, some of you guys should just go after the fat, ugly girls if things are that bad for you. There isn't that much difference once the lights are off and at least you'll get laid one time in your lives. There's no rule that says you need to extend the relationship beyond a one-nighter.
