Oh man this thread made me laugh. Where would you people be if it wasn't for the internet? I mean seriously, with all this fdree time what would you be doing with your life?

It just makes me sad that some people drift along through life with no innitiative or ambition to get the things they want. No one, let alone a girl, wants to be around people who mope and whine about how crappy their lives are, who live with their parents past 24yrs, and do nothing to change their lives around for the better. People like to be around people with confidence and some sort of self esteem. This is especially true with women... they want someone who can take innitiative with their life and someone who can protect them. it is the most primal of emotions when it comes to finding a mate or someone to be with.

I have been on dates in the past 7 years, but no serious relationship. My last GF was a holdover from high school into college. I DEFINETELY get anxious at the thought of rejection. The dates happened in college because I was around a lot of people. Now that I am out and working it is harder to meet people. I don't have the balls to walk up to someone in public and ask them out, the fear of rejection is definetely there. It doesn't help any that the dates in college didn't lead anywhere, probably because the girls were not interested. I have thought about eharmony or whatever, but are those a waste of time? I don't know.

P.S. I think OP should go ahead and get that arranged marriage thing done. I'm sure it'd work out just fine for you if your parents find the right girl.

EDIT: but if you dont learn how to be confident and sure of yourself your new wife may treat you as women here do. She'll just take your money and run if you dont learn how to be yourself.

Most women want an 'alphamale', not a wimp. This is true for most cases but definately not for all.
