Anyone play Mario Kart DS Online?

I haven't played any of the single player yet just online. Just got it about a week ago. Anyway why is it ppl leave me in the dust and I can barely(usually don't) catch up? At times I don't see them the whole race. What am I doing wrong?

Don't tell me they are cheating somehow. Or is it possible?

I'm not sure. It sometimes happens to me too. Are you boosting? And if you are, try getting a different kart.

A while ago I read about some kind of technique where you could almost constantly be getting power boosts, it was called "snaking".

HA! More like abusing the turboslide! That's the wussiest technique I've ever seen in any video game.

thats what the loser always say, its more fun to snake on a straight than just friggin' pressing A

btw, theres a technique to avoid a blue shell as well, video google it

I guess it can be a cool experience. But snaking just looks cheap to me. Snaking also looks kinda hard. And I'm not a loser. I beat the staff ghosts on every course without snkaing in Yoshi's standard Kart.

Well that explains alot . I guess if I wanna have any chance of winning I need to learn that.
