I guess he said naturally antialiased.
I wouldn't say it's ridiculous. With different pixel shape and layout the jagged edges can be less noticable.
Yes I meant naturally "anti-aliased". I know what he is referring to, and I don't personally like that image type because it's as if you're gaming on a TV. Good for low resolution, but I haven't seen a CRT match the sharpness and fidelity of 1440p or 2160p.
Great for old NES games though.
