That thread brings back some memories.
note: You may have to add in a resistor in series with the butter so you don't trip the breaker.
Question, growing up, we always just left the butter out on the counter, somtimes we would actually put it in the bread thingymagigie. I always wondered how it never spoiled. (or appeard to have spoiled) But I noticed in the summer it got pretty nasty looking, all half melted and such. And then when some sugar fell in it from sprinkling it on your cinamon toast, the next day there would be ants swimming and drowning in it, and with all the toast flakes in the butter already, you usually didn't figure it out until piece two or three. So, how often do you replace the roomtemperature butter containment apparatus?
I made my fair share of those.Originally posted by: Gaard
I remember the first "Do you remember the BUTTER thread" thread.

Funny that you should ask!
The original Nef was a n00b who tried to level up his member status by posting, "Testing, please ignore." in the Forum Issues forum and replying to it a hundred times. I discovered the post and posted his name, "nef." I then linked the thread to OT, and starting calling people who posted worthless or repetitive things "nef." The term caught on, and has become part of AT history.
A bit of the pot calling the kettle black, methinks, because I have done my fair share of neffing. But it is my one meaningful contribution to the AT forums.
C'mon Adul, you know the answer, back me up on this one.
Not to be confused with Nowheremom, but I guess that's a whole different story.Originally posted by: jadinolf
