Anyone reviewing Leadtek Ti200 128Mb??

According to my sources Leadtek will release a 128Mb version of their Ti200 TDH card sometime this week.

If somebody has recieved, tested, or seen a review of one, please tell me!

I need a new graphics card pronto, and everything I've read about the 64Mb Ti200 TDH sounds great.
If the 128Mb version shows the same overclocking capabilities its a sure buy.

128 megs is a waste of money, 64 is more than enough for anything around. Use the money to buy something faster if you really want to spend more.

I have the 128MB Gainward Geforce 3 Ti200. Don't expect the 128MB cards to overclock as well as it's 64MB counterparts since the memory density is higher.


I currently have mine at 231/515

The 128Mb version will cost allmost exactly as much as the 64Mb version does right now, when it arrives here in Europe. The price for 64Mb cards will prob. drop then...

You are probably right about the overclocking capabilities and the overkill with 128Mb cards. I just want to see some reviews before I decide wich one to pick.

With the card at 231/515, I got 8309 in 3DMark2001. I haven't compared the score to the online database yet so I don't know how well that score fared with the others.



Do I regret buying the 128mb? I think not. For extra $30 I probably extended the life of this card 2-3 months. Also the card was made by a quality compnay Gainward so I have no worries.

The reason why I was asking is because I just bought one myself and should get it next week. Everybody told me that I was better off with the 64MB version but curiousity got the best of me.

I looked at your system rig and if you used the same 1.3Ghz T-bird and Win Me and you managed to get a score of over 8000 in 3DMark2001, I think that's pretty damn good score.

I would advise against purchasing a Leadtek card. If it fails you may get the same response to an RMA request that I did, as follows.

over 8000 with that? with a 1.466 gHz t-bird, kt266a chipset, 384 MB of pc2100, and a ti-200 running at 250/530 i "only" get 7800. maybe the extra 64 MB of ram is more help that i thought....
