Anyone see "The Animal" ?

I saw it yesterday, and it was ok. It fits right in with Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Deuce Bigelow, etc. More stupid guy humor.

The main reason I saw it was to help knock Pearl Harbor out of 1st. The theatre was packed for a matinee, so I think it has a chance.

but that was one funny ace movie

Pearl Harbor was ok. I even waited in line to see it.

Rob Schneider seems like a pretty cool guy. He was on the Jim Rome radio show last week and had some good sports takes. Ben Affleck made some crack that Pearl Harbor &quot;was no Rob Schneider movie.&quot; Schneider countered with &quot;at least my movies are supposed to be funny,&quot; and urged people to help &quot;sneak attack&quot; pearl harbor over the weekend to help mess with people in hollywood.

They should announce the boxoffice results sometime today or tomorrow.

The Animal seems a bit too off the wall for me. Even if I am a major animal fantatic.

Pearl Harbor seems like a renter for us. My hubby will love all of the fighters and war stuff but hate the big lovey dovey stuff. I'll be bored with both

I went with my brother-in-law, and we were both glad we didn't take our wives. They wouldn't have appreciated the stupid juvenille humor, and we would have been blamed for wasting $15 on tickets. They were just happy we found something to do while they were at a baby shower.

Shrek was a great movie.

Funny thing is that my husband is the one who least likes silly movies like that. When we've gone to movies with his parents he goes to one with his mother and his father and I go see things with people like Leslie Nielson.

There are just some types which go past even me.

Pearl Harbor was an awesome movie.....how can you people not like it? The nurse was cute and it actually serves as a reminder as to how the Japanese tore us a new one on that day. The action scenes were pretty randy too. Oh yeah, did I mention that the nurse was cute?

Having said that I'll probably check out the animal sometime soon. Maybe even tomorrow night.

I beg to differ. My girlfriend and I both thought MR sucked. I can appreciated a love story, but comon, I found myself maybe laughing 1 time during the show. The rest was flat out scary. I hope thats not what passes for &quot;new age cinema&quot;. Not to mention the 20,000 teenie boppers in there that stared at me when I walked in with my girl. :Q

i went to TVGuide's movie review page for The Animal since they have the credits for a lot of people for each movie and found Morisa Taylor Kaplan for mailbox girl...i couldn't find any pics when i did a search but did get a link to playboy's college girls edition or something...so that seems like the right person...but there's no pics there...

I saw it on Friday night and was pleasantly surprised by it - thought it would be some stupid movie but turned out to be very funny and enjoyable. Not necessarily 5 stars but worth the $5.50 in admission

The Animal came in 3rd last weekend with $19.8 million. Not bad, considering it was made for only $22 million.

I saw &quot;The Animal&quot; tonight and I have to admit it was funnier than I had expected. Stark is right that it fits right into Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Deuce Bigelow, etc. Although I still think Happy Gilmore is one hilarious movie, a lot funnier than the others listed.

That girl during the &quot;horse humps the mailbox scene&quot; was HOT!, she didn't really have tig 'ole bitties but she was HOT!

The animal was the bomb. Of course I did sneak in to see it so I am a little biased. Anything is better when it is free. I highly recommend this to anyone. If you're unsure of a movie, just sneak in. The prices they charge for theaters are ridiculous anyway. I don't know how it is around the country but here in the bay area, a movie will set you back close to $10. Highway robbery I say.
