Anyone snag the Dell XPS1330 from My Wishlist?

Man I'm so pissed--I tried to snag the $900 XPS m1330 at 12pm, 3pm and just now but no luck. I timed everything perfectly, watched the countdown clock, and clicked "Try Now" right when the counter hit 0 the first time--no luck. As soon as I clicked, it said "all items are in others' carts" or some BS. Kept trying for like 5 minutes after to see if someone cancelled the order, but no one did.

For the 2nd and 3rd round I realized there's a few milliseconds where it checks stock...so I clicked "Try Now" with a little over one second before the sale. No luck. Damned home wifi. Even at work our external net access sucks--proxy server and choked bandwidth. Damn all the peeps with FiOS and eBay sellers who snagged the deal!

Has anyone snagged something at My Wishlist this year? I'm trying for the $300 Xbox Elite bundle next, but I know that'll be impossible.

OK, so who was lucky enough to get the Xbox Elite package? All gone within .60 milliseconds!

FYI, it looks like the Tivo HD is still available for $399. This includes 1 year of service and the wireless adaptor.

They also send you a 1099 on the amount you didn't pay for. So if the MSRP is 2000 and you get it for 900 you are going to have to pay taxes on the 1100, so it doesn't turn out to be as good as a deal (still decent, just not AS good).

i failed as well, you have to click early to account for latency, at least i do. last week clicked halfway through "1" and got in on a sports authority coupon thing. not exactly a hot deal but yeah... there are some things id like to buy from there.

edit: also tried for the TV last week and failed there.

I have played the last 3 or 4 years. First year I made a killing. They had 25% off Amazon, Sony, and other great rewards. I bought/sold 2-3 PSPs, a bunch of iPods and some American Girl dolls I had won.

I haven't won anything since then other than the wish certificates. I have been trying to the 20% off Home Depot but get denied each time. I have already won a 20% off Borders, $100 GC on $400 purchase at Restoration Hardware and one for a $150 GC on a $600 Best Buy purchase.

RossMAN - Can you provide more info? The script kiddies used to exploit the Amex contest but I think it has pretty much been eliminated. You get banned if you DDOS their site.
