Anyone still considering Ivy Bridge?

With the 2500k hitting $170 at several major retailers here in Canada I see no reason to go with Ivy. Just pocket the $70 you will save and buy more memory or an SSD.

Wondering where you are seeing 2500K for $170.

2500K @ 4.5ghz, 58C max load... srly why even bother with IvB. If i try to squeeze 4.5ghz out of it, my MB would fry or I'd have to get a better water cooling and spend heaps extra for what... 3-5% extra performance thats not even noticeable??

Next gen on an expensive process that can't even beat previous gen? IvB is fail.

op might get a $1200.00 gtx 690 and might want to run it at it's native faster speed of pci-e 3.0 - looks better in gpu-z.
