Anyone tried X10's MP3 Anywhere?

If so, what do you think? How does the included remote control the PC software? I am hoping its not another serial device cause if so Id skip it. And is there any similar device by other companies? I dont care if it cost more (I dont really like X10s marketing policy too much)

Yeah, it's awesome for the money. Actually, I've never used their software, I wrote my own But the hardware is definately worth the money, the range is excellent - I can control MP3s from anywhere in the house.

Yep, it's serial, but I don't think they use a device driver (I don't for my program, so I know it's possible).

^%$&@# I am so sick of serial devices... Oh well. guess I wont be using this product then. I have all these serial devices and only 2 serial ports (and only 1 is even enabled) USB is so superior I dont see why all these companies use it.
