Nomorobo was good because it has an algorithm that figured from all the bad numbers what would be used as spoofed numbers and blocked them automatically. And it shares a database (the biggest benefit). This device looks like it just lets you locally block every new number and you have to be proactive. Getting non-repeated spoofed numbers all the time so something like this still means getting the rings and sometimes you're not even sure so you pick up anyway.
Ahh, another thing is I don't use the crap voicemail that comes with the phone service, I use the one built into my phone, not hearing the message as their leaving it defeats the whole purpose...screening my calls, even say it on my greeting, or sometimes the greeting will say "If you know the extension of the person you are calling, please enter it after the tone, otherwise please state the name of the person you are calling and you will be automatically forwarded to that persons extension...lol
Had a bill collector once that was a total f-tard, so for a few weeks I put the built in greeting to speak french, LMFAO! Had him paying these third party translators to try and leave messages for the crap he wanted to say, haha! Love it that a bottom feeder was finally having to eat crap! Also made one think the number had been disconnected just by typing it out on "Microsoft Anna" and using it as my greeting. I screen all calls though, even from the ones allowed to call, then you have the option to "not be there depending on what they want w/out having to "call" your voicemail...?! Crazy how they even got people started doing that...almost as big a scam as getting people to walk around typing all the crap they could say in 1/100th of the time it takes to type that crap out...whats next..morse code? lol
