Just ordered my Nootropic stack

500g Piracetam powder
500mg ALCAR x 100 capsules
500g Choline Bitartrate powder
200mcg Huperzine A x 120 caps

Any users care to share their experience with Nootropics?

lol speak of the devil. just bought 500g of piracetam last week.

skipping choline atm because i wanted to see how piracetam worked on its own. taking 1g 1-2 times per day. i am on day 5 now. so far it seems to have had more of a fuzzy brain effect than anything else. headaches have been very minimal or nonexistent thankfully.

if after two weeks effects are minimal or negative then i'll supplement with CDP-Choline and/or tweak the dosage.

interesting experiment nonetheless.

Only one I ever tried was Alpha Brain. Didn't do anything at all, I noticed zero effects. Any good recommendations?

Why Cdp choline? I'm looking for something in pill form instead of powder now

You need much less of CDP to have the same effect as bitartrate. But ultimately there shouldn't be much difference between the two.

Anyone mind sharing where they buy from? PM is fine.

I took piracetam / choline pre-mixed pills for a few months a couple years ago. The supplier I used got kind of expensive because I was taking such a high dose. I haven't taken any since.

Subjectively it felt like it helped a little bit, but it could be placebo.

Objectively my performance was a lot better. I logged more hours in concentrated tasks with less mental fatigue.

With choline bitartrate, you deal with issues crossing the blood-brain barrier. Plus choline bitartrate is pretty nasty tasting when you mix it with water in powdered form.

It's generally considered better to supplement with alpha gpc for your choline needs. It rapidly delivers choline across the blood-brain barrier.

Personally my daily intake is as follows:
* 2-3g piracetam, plus 500mg or so of ALCAR, dissolved in water, every morning on an empty stomach. I also often have 1g piracetam and 500mg of ALCAR before I go to sleep, since it gives me fantastically detailed dreams in combination with melatonin.
* Originally I was taking the choline bitartrate in conjunction with the piracetam and ALCAR a few times a week. I then switched over to one capsule of alpha GPC per morning along with the piracetam and ALCAR.
* One lecithin capsule in the morning, sometimes one at dinner.
* Recently I started adding in Bacopa into the mix.
* I also normally take one multivitamin in the morning as well with food.
* During dinner I take a fish oil capsule.

I only take Huperzine maybe one or two times a month when studying; it's generally recommended to not take too much of it at a time, and never more than 2-3 days in a row on the nootropic forums.

I've used phenibut for sleep with good results. But I never used it regularly or cycling, just as needed.

Do you have any experience with CDP Choline? I wanna switch Choline Bitartrate power to a pill to be more consistent in dosage and convenience. What do you recommend for a noob?

As I mentioned above, I recommend switching to Alpha GPC for choline supplementation instead of the other choline delivery nootropics.

They are both very similar, both come in a pill form. There are two studies I found comparing the two:

The first study reported that the use of 1 gram per day of alpha GPC produced higher cognitive test scores in subjects with vascular dementia than did 1 gram per day of CDP-choline. The second study reported that alpha GPC raised plasma choline levels substantially higher in normal subjects than CDP-choline did.
