Anyone use Peptop Bismol to stop a stomach ache?

Anyone ever use pepto to stop a stomach ache? Did it work?

Right now I have a crazy crazy stomach ache that isn't going away. All the pooping in the world isn't helping it either.

I've had to use it for stomache aches before school. Works wonders.

I used pepto for about 3 days, and it turned my tongue brown. It was a dark brown, tasteless film that came off when I used my toothbrush. After a few tense minutes of Internet searching, I found out that this is a known side-effect. It's even listed on the side of the bottle, which in retrospect would have been a good place to look before hitting Google.

I used tons of Pepto Bismol once during finals week just to find out that I am allergic to the pink dye in it. So instead of throwing up constantly I ended up with hives all over my body and actually had to go to the ER at the end of the week

Done it many times - always seemed to get the job done, and in a hurry no less.
Give it a shot, the worst that can happen is your poo will become dehydrated

I've always preferred Pepto Bismol cold (so I keep it in the fridge).
