I have done that for many years, and I also use my shirt sleeve when it is convenient.

i've used it to draw plans and sections out too... but no, never presented them in that format.

hell, I went as far as hooking up a home made toilet paper dispenser onto my backpack for when I goto school! People thought it was the most amazing invention ever! Grab, Tear, Wipe!!! unlimited supply, and convenient as hell!

but then, I'd rather use kleenex cuz its so soft and cuddly! and I could also look at the puddle of snot I've created!

Kleenex Ultra is da' bomb!

It has moisturizers right in the tissue. Never get a raw nose again!

yeah, carrying a roll of toilet paper is more convenient than a box of tissues =)

whoever it was that used looseleaf, i warn you to never use it as a replacement from a tissue if you are using it to stop a cut from bleeding.

i was walking home from school and managed to cut my finger open on a fence, i thought "damn it" and grabbed a piece of A4 looseleaf from my bag and rapped it around my finger. by the time i got home and tried to remove the paper...it was pratically glued to my finger. it came of in bits and pieces and some i even had trouble washing off

not me... when i blow my nose, it tears that stuff apart..

Now Napkins.. that stuff holds together under gale force winds!! Rips your nose to shreds, but holds together!!

Napkins, TP, whatever I got on hand. When I run out of Kleenex I can just walk down the bathroom and pick another role of micron-thick dormitory toilet paper.

Of course if I don't have TP nearby, I will use paper towel! It's no biggie. But paper towel is still more expensive than TP.

I use napkins or paper towels. Tissue paper is for sissies! And when I have to blow my nose, dammit I make it worthwhile. Tissues just don't hold up. Toilet paper doesn't have the surface area to handle my load

i do use it sometimes. well, to me, asian, it's not really disgusting, unless you are not taking a new roll but grab the one that has stayed in your bathroom for a month...

Either works. Tissue most of the time, but TP if it's a bad cold. Tissue just doesn't hold.

I've used that generic brown bathroom paper to blow a nose before.

Well, some people may comment about my etiquette, but I don't really mind.

Guess what? There's a new toilet paper coming out that has lotion in, like puff's plus for your nose, but for your rump. Be on the lookout.
