Anyone used a Silverstone SG13? What do you think?

I'd love to get some opinions on this case. Especially compared to the Coolermaster Elite 130.

What kind of cooling did you use? I'm looking at just using stock cooling and not overclocking and putting a quiet 140mm fan in the case.

Worth it? Another case worth looking at that's small and quiet?

I'm also looking at the exact same thing: SG13, stock cooling. I think the choice of PSU is key. Something with a 120mm fan would probably be best. It could sit over the CPU and exhaust the hot air. If you find anything in your research, let me know.

Been kinda lurking all over the net trying to find relevant info. Couple things I've noticed is that lots of people put watercooling in for overclocking, buy a silverstone PSU, and end up with a very small machine that's pretty expensive for gaining the extra couple liters of smallness. Special HSF cooling, special case cooling, and special PSU.

You can buy a 140mm Corsair PSU that is the same size and is still a very good PSU for less money. Still haven't found enough info to convince me the box is good for stock cooling. I see reviews raving about the CM130 at stock cooling though.

Yep. Most people are simply using AIO LCs. I have found a couple of examples of air cooling. Try this thread: http://www.overclock.net/t/1494564/silverstone-sugo-sg13-mini-itx-owners-club/700. Found one person using air cooling on page 71 so far...

Looks like his cooling problems were solved by going from a 120x12mm fan to a 120x15mm fan and lapping the CPU.

I don't know, that seems like an awful lot of work for sub 70 temps...

I have the silver stone sg 13 and with only a slow profile cpu cooler 92mm fan. And a evga 600 bronze my system stays 42c on the inside while under load and 58-62 at the cpu under load. Im getting a 120mm fan for an intake. I also have a gtx 970 in it. I really like the case its great. But get a sfx power supply or a modular one. I have cords clutering up the whole case. And make sure your cpu cooler has clearance from the bottom of your power supply.

Do the 140mm fans block the gpu? Why use 120mm?

They don't block the gpu. The fan doesn't go that far over. I got an EVGA Gtx 970 full length and it doesn't interfere with the fan mount. Only if i put a thick ssd in there it might have a problem. Amazing case though its really good.
