Im going to try to do you a favor and save you the pain and annoyance of these things. Ive used 3 and ended up ebaying all of them (I bought all 3 at the same time and had problems with each one). They are very very very picky. Unless the disc is in the drive 'just right' it wont work. they are unreliable. if you drop a disc, often times thats it, all your data is gone just like that, they cant handle ANY abuse whatsoever. They are also pretty slow, sure they are faster than a zip drive, but the transfer rate is abysmal. Had these drives worked as promised and not come out almost a year or 2 later than they were supposed to it would have been great, but really no one has them so you cant really transfer stuff anywhere and with how easy it is to lose data on the discs you dont want to store anything you cant afford to lose so why buy them?
