Anyone uses the TeamViewer VPN?

I've never checked the option to install it and was wondering why would one do that? any benefits to that?

that thread did not say anything about the VPN option that was asked about.

using the VPN option acts like the computers are connected to the same common network (eg. LAN). So you can access remote resources like printers, network drives, remote databases and shares.
