Anyone watch CW's Flash premiere?

Just got done watching it, not bad at all. Lots of promise. Decent special effects. Story arc looks promising.

Costume isn't my favorite, but its a far sight better than simply putting him in a red morphsuit. I wish they could have gone more along the lines of the New 52's metal plate suit.

I liked it. It was a decent story and a good watch. One thing was driving me nuts though: Could the guy playing Flash ride Toby McGuire any harder? In some parts, it seems like they took the script from Spider-Man and just changed every third word. Even the ending "pan away from city while announcing who I now am in a squeaky adolescent voice" thing sounded like the guy was doing a McGuire impression.

I hope the show learns how to become it's own thing instead of a copy of something else.

Not much going on in this thread, hopefully not an indication on how the show is doing. Thought it was pretty good, an enjoyable hour. I felt the cast was pretty good also. Looking forward to more. And it was shot in my home town, didn't know that. Seems Portland is a popular filming spot nowadays.

I am worried that they have already killed off 2 of the villains associated with the flash so if they keep it up of one per episode he will only be used to hand out speeding tickets by season 2.

Episode 2 was great! Looking forward to seeing how the season progresses and what is up with Harrison Wells. If you guys like this show and havent checked out Arrow, I would highly suggest watching Arrow as well. Sounds like there is a crossover episode this season between the two where they may duke it out

I think it has a fun blend of comedy and action. It also has lots of hidden little references buried in the writing that comic fans will enjoy while normal watchers won't feel thrown off (e.g. the museum joke).

I've liked most of the episodes so far. Little disappointed that they preempted S0105 for the election coverage, but I'm ready for me. In a few weeks, we'll have the Flash/Arrow crossover as well.
