anyone watch the Galavant TV show?

Pretty funny. King Richard is awesome

I half watched it - was messing with my broken laptop. wasn't aware that it was a musical. it was ok.

was surprised to realize king richard was Lassiter from Psych.

Watched it and didn't like it. There were a few jokes (not enough). The commercials for this show created some high expectations that it didn't deliver.

I also wondered if someone was trying to make another "Robin Hood - Men in Tights"?

I was able to stand maybe two minutes before I changed the channel...

I knew there was going to be some singing in it but didn't realize it was a full-on musical, so only made it about 15-20 minutes in before giving up.
The dialog parts seemed good enough to probably keep me going but i just can't stand that much singing.

I had completed an internet survey on it a few months ago; it made a lot more sense to me this time (though maybe that's because I had a better idea what it was that I was actually watching this time around)...

I watched it for about 5 minutes and when I realized it wasn't just the opening scene that was a musical I changed the channel.

The promos showed Weird Al and the first episode didn't have him unless I fell asleep during the show and missed him. MORE WEIRD AL!

My 3 year old daughter liked the kings and queens, falshy colors and the singing so our TV was on that channel for the full hour, however my 6 year old son had enough of it after about 30 minutes and I was refereeing for the rest of the time, so between all the drama, I kinda watched it. It wasn't bad but not something I will watch again if it was upto me...

Galavant started reasonably well, but by episode three its ratings had gone fractional. It's now certain to be canceled and not return next season.

Liked the first episode, not a fan of musicals but laughed, the king is definitely the best character.

Dumb suits tried to market a promising show as something it didn't really intend to be, and now it will be canceled after one season. Now where have I heard that story before?

Finished season 1... it's a light hearted comedy. Easy to vege to for 25 minutes with some laughs. Reminds me of the 80's shows for some reason, I guess due to the cheesiness and the song and dance.
