Anyone with the ASUS AX800 PRO?

The AX800 Pro comes with a webcam. When I plug it in Windows can't find drivers for it and when I install the included drivers it doesn't show up under My Computer like my old Intel webam did. Furthermore it shows up as a ? in Device Manager. Any ideas?

I have the Asus AX800Pro but I never tried the webcam. How do you like the vid card? I think it is great. I upgraded from a Radeon 8500le though.

hehe i had this problem a while back, heres the thread

btw, if on the box of your x800, it says AX800PRO /TVD, it is a x800pro vivo like mine, and can be modded to XT PE Easily. just look for the thread about "Turn x800pro to xt pe"

So far the card is great. I upgraded from a Radeon 9500 Pro, now I'm HL2 at 1280x1024 with the following settings:

Great, thanks! As for the card, it's not the VIVO model. I can't complain though, I got it brand new for only $250 and it lists on NewEgg for $430.

damn,.. r u sure?? has it not got the rage theatre chip on back? ok soz i am prob wrong but i thought only webcam came with the vivo hehe

exactly what came with my card man, its a vivo - those 3 cables are vivo.
Get 2 floppy disks and enjoy the extra powah

nope. the asus one will say TVD on the box. also if you are really wanting to know whether if it vivo or not, take the card out and turn it over, there will be a big chip says Rage Theatre Chip on it.

I have the TD model, the TVD has a "9-pin S-Video to Composite VIVO cable". The component video cable is just for outputting to a TV.
