I work Inbound, and this job sucks kind of. You get so much phone calls and do so much talking, your throat begins to hurt and itch.
Anyways, I got a funny wierd call today! An old lady wanted to purchase some kind of cookware set. She wanted to send a check to the company, because she didnt have a credit card. So I try to get the address so she can send a check, but they only accept credit cards. So here is what happened:
Me: I'm sorry maam, but the company does not accept checks or money orders.
Her: What? Checks are just as good as cash.
Me: I'm sorry but they are only accepting credit cards at the moment.
Her: I dont believe in credit cards.
Me: I'm sorry, but they will only accept credit cards.
Her: Oh yea, well then, why dont you just stick it!!
(she hangs up the phone)
